Because established grassroots political organizations are often part of the problem too. So we pledge to do the unthinkable. We will shut down in 5 years or less. You see, if we can't accomplish our mission in 5 years or less, we don't deserve to exist.

We have no political agenda other than to return power to the people. And once we give it our best shot, win or lose, we pledge to do what no politician will ever do (unless they are facing certain electoral defeat) – we will quit and go do something else productive.

So we won’t calculate the long-term political cost of what we say or do. We won’t owe any politician anything. We will lay it all on the line.
